Sunday service is a traditional Lutheran setting with Holy Communion served every Sunday. The organ accents this service with seasonal appearances by our choir. The 11:00 A.M. celebration is more contemporary with the emphasis on "Praise Songs", the Word, Prayer and Holy Communion each Sunday. Kids' Church is held at 11:00 A.M. each Sunday. May 30 through September 26 - 10 AM Blended Worship 9 & 11 Worship times will resume on October 3rd Child Care for infant through 3 years is provided each Sunday in our child care center (nursery) located at the west end of the church. ST. JOHN'S BASICS People who wish to become members attend an orientation course to learn the basics and more about the Christian faith. Pastor Charles is the leader. Efforts are made to introduce new people to both each other and the ministries of St. John’s. Classes occur periodically. St. John’s has one of the best music programs in the desert. Our team consists of spiritually gifted musicians who assist us in our worship. The 9AM Traditional Service (additional early service possible during season). We are blessed to have our Cantor, Laura Stave, she adds her special vocal solos to this service. Patrick Karst - Accompanist. The 11AM Contemporary Service music is led by Bob Corwin, on piano, Danny Flahive on bass, Ron Mercier on percussion, and the vocals on our “Praise Team” which consists of Samantha Corwin and Laura Stave. Bob leads the fine “Praise Team”, a group of committed Christians. We enjoy solos by two gifted singers, Samantha Corwin and Laura Stave.
